Buying & Selling

Manheim's Marketplace APIs allow consignors and other API consumers to manage the buying and selling of inventory available through Manheim. These APIs are:

• Forecasts, which are indicators of future wholesale prices drawn from the Manheim Market Report, project for future date inputs up to 106 weeks in the future using historical depreciation patterns. The pricing calculations are based on millions of sales transactions for the previous 13 months, and pricing data is refreshed weekly.
• Offerings, which are requests for a particular inventory unit to be listed for sale.
• Purchases, which are purchases of vehicles by a dealer.
• Searches, which allows user to search listings from Manheims inventory sources.
• Titles, which allows users to determine Title Status and any exceptions to support the seller in the transfer of a title, and view shipping information.
• Transactions, which are sales of vehicles by a dealer.
• Valuations, which are indicators of wholesale prices drawn from the Manheim Market Report. The pricing calculations are based on millions of sales transactions for the previous 13 months, and pricing data is refreshed nightly.
